New Chair for Principals Australia Institute (PAI)

 
Anne SkipperOn behalf of the Board of Principals Australia Institute (PAI) we are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Anne Skipper AM as Independent Chair of the Board from 1 July 2016.
 
Anne is an experienced Chair, a strategic thinker and an engaging and collaborative leader.
 
She brings to the Board 30 years of national and international experience as company director and Chair of not-for-profit, private and government organisations, and was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2000 for community service.
 
Anne is currently Chair of Australia’s largest not-for-profit community health service, Silver Chain, and led its successful merger with the Royal District Nursing Society (RDNS) SA.
 
She is also a director on the boards of Plan International (a humanitarian children’s charity), Plan International Hong Kong, People’s Choice Credit Union and Tonkin Consulting.
 
Her past directorship roles have included Deputy Chair of the South Australian Tourism Commission, Councillor of University of SA, Director of the Qantas Foundation, Chair of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Chair of the North Western Adelaide Health Service, Chair of the Spastic Centres of SA, Chair of the International Year of the Family in South Australia, Chair of the Children’s Interest Bureau Board and other board roles.
 
Anne is also an experienced and key facilitator with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, both nationally and internationally.
 
Anne’s extensive board and governance experience, strong commercial acumen and track record of organisational growth gained in board and executive roles make her ideally suited to become the next Chair of PAI.
 
Anne will take on the role from July.  The Board and Staff look forward to welcoming Anne to PAI.
